OCADA, Mich.–Employees of Northland Area FCU heated up the 2018 Relay for Life fundraising season with a bake sale to raise over $1600 to fight cancer.
Northland employees in AuGres, Fairview, Gaylord, Glennie, Hale, Harrisville, Houghton Lake, Mio, Oscoda, Skidway, Tawas, and West Branch combined efforts that day to prepare and sell homemade baked goods at each of their credit union branches to support Relay for Life.
“I am delighted with the enthusiastic efforts of our people to support Relay for Life,” said Northland CEO Pete Dzuris. “They are having fun, they’re bringing people together within our communities and most importantly they are making a difference in the fight against cancer, a disease that affects us all.”
