HERNDON, Va.–Northwest Federal Credit Union has hired Joe Hasto as its new Senior Vice President/Chief Financial Officer.
Hasto most recently serviced as EVP/CFO with Elements Financial Federal Credit Union in Indianapolis. Prior to that, Hasto’s 23 years of credit union experience included Public Service Credit Union in Denver, Colorado and Wegmans Federal Credit Union in Rochester, New York.
“We are pleased Joe has joined our Executive Team,” said Acting President and CEO, Jeff Bentley. “His expertise, education and credit union experience make him an ideal fit for the Chief Financial Officer of Northwest Federal. We look forward to his contributions to our overall strategic plan.”
Hasto will oversee Northwest Federal’s accounting, finance and risk management teams as well as participate in the overall strategies of the Credit Union as part of the Executive Team. He possesses knowledge of how to manage a diverse investment portfolio and earned his MBA from the Mendoza College of Business at Notre Dame.
