Herndon, Va. – Northwest Federal Credit Union recently promoted Alex Lane to Senior Vice President of Operations. Lane has been serving in an acting capacity since February, 2017 and has been employed with the credit union since 2015.
“Northwest Federal’s Board of Directors and our Executive Team are pleased to solidify the role Alex has been serving so adeptly since earlier this year,” said Northwest Federal’s President and CEO, Jeff Bentley. “Alex is an asset to our team, and his work to streamline Northwest Federal’s operations has resulted in improved processes and business savings that we can return to our members.”
Lane has more than eight years of experience as an operations consultant to executive leaders and department heads in the areas of banking operations, process improvement, and crisis management. He has significant expertise improving organizational structures, streamlining key functions, and mitigating cost through implementing best practices and strategies. Lane is an experienced project manager, having led numerous enterprise-wide projects focused on new technology, process realignment, and new product development using PMP and Agile methodologies. He is certified in the banking leadership program through American Banking Association and Wharton Business School.
