ROCKVILLE, Md.–Northwest FCU has opened its first branch in Maryland. The Herndon, Va.-based credit union said it is expanding its network of branch locations into Maryland to better serve its growing membership. The branch features two drive-thru lanes, 24-hour ATM access and more.
The grand opening and ribbon cutting was attended by representatives of the Montgomery Chamber of Commerce, iHeart radio personality Lisa Berigan, and many local businesses. Jeff Bentley, president and CEO of Northwest Federal, thanked the community for welcoming Northwest Federal to Rockville Pike.
“Our members live and work throughout the Washington DC metro area and we are committed to expanding our locations and services to meet their needs,” said Bentley. “Our new Rockville branch is the first step in our expansion plans aimed at serving our existing members and bringing Northwest Federal’s brand of personal service and community involvement to new areas.”
