HERNDON, Va.–Northwest FCU has been recognized by CU Realty Services, LLC as the top credit union for saving members money through the company’s HomeAdvantage program.
Over the past 13 years as a participant, Northwest Federal said it has saved its members over $4.9 million, one of only two credit unions to have given back more than $4 million.
“I want to thank the entire mortgage team for their service to our members through promoting the HomeAdvantage program,” said Northwest Federal’s Vice President of Mortgage Lending, Joe Talmadge. “Our success with the program is especially gratifying because it means we have helped over 1,200 members save money while achieving their dream of homeownership.”
The free real estate rebate program gives members the ability to search online for local homes, research neighborhoods, check comparable sales prices in their area and more. If members use an agent in the HomeAdvantage network, they are eligible for a rebate of 20% of their agent's commission every time they buy or sell*.
