ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.–Nusenda Credit Union conducted its 88th annual meeting, during which it reviewed its successes, growth, and community support during 2023.
NCU said highlights focused on its commitment to helping its more than 260,000 members, new market growth through the Western Heritage Bank acquisition, investing in employees’ well-being, and supporting organizations doing great work in the communities we serve.
Nusenda’s leadership told the meeting that, according to America’s Credit Unions, members received more than $62 million in direct savings. Additionally, the credit union returned more than $8.6 million in cash to members through Earn Your Return bonus dividends, Community Rewards, and Business Debit Card rewards.
In addition, Nusenda CU, the Nusenda Foundation, and its employees also donated $1.9 million to communities and people throughout the state.
During the annual meeting, Judy Cartmell, Martin Serna, and Ralph Wallace were elected to serve on Nusenda’s board for three-year terms.
