Nuvision Credit Union Partners With Greenlight to Boost Family Financial Literacy

HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif.—Nuvision Credit Union has partnered with Greenlight Financial Technology to provide members with free access to the Greenlight family finance app, expanding the credit union's financial education resources for children and teens.

The app is designed to help parents teach money management skills by allowing children to use a debit card while learning to save, spend, earn and give. Parents can send money, set spending controls, automate allowances, monitor transactions and assign chores through the platform, which also includes Greenlight Level Up, an interactive financial literacy curriculum.

"Financial literacy is central to Nuvision's mission, and we're proud to partner with Greenlight to provide families with practical tools that help build smart money habits from an early age," said Roger Ballard, CEO of Nuvision Credit Union.

The partnership comes as financial education remains a growing concern nationwide. Nuvision cited Greenlight survey data showing 91% of children and teens believe financial knowledge is essential to achieving their goals, while 94% of parents agree. The credit union said the program is intended to help families build lifelong financial skills and better prepare young people for adulthood.
