Oregon State CU Awards 10 Scholarships

CORVALLIS, Ore.– Oregon State Credit Union awarded 10 high school seniors its Tomorrow’s Leaders Today (TLT) $2,000 college scholarships at its annual meeting at Corvallis’ Majestic Theater.

Founded in 1998, the TLT scholarship program honors overall excellence within Oregon State Credit Union’s teen members. Over the last 18 years, 181 students have now received the scholarships to better address the rising costs of a higher education. The TLT program annually rewards high school seniors who are Oregon State Credit Union members and will be attending an in-state college or university this fall.

At least half of this year’s winners will be attending Oregon State University this fall. They are Nicole Koski and Jackson Golletz of Crescent Valley High School, Cody Gustafson of Corvallis High School, Sadie Craig of West Albany High School and Kyle Miller of Central High School in Independence.

Other winners (with college/university of choice in parenthesis) were Isabel Solano of Newport High School (Willamette University), Chloe Mills of Corvallis High School (University of Oregon) and Aurora Jensen of Crescent Valley High School (Linfield College). Both Cole De Risio of Renaissance Public Academy in Woodburn and Corvallis High School’s Norah Storniolo are choosing from among several college and university options in the weeks to come.
