Oregon State CU Awards Scholarships

CORVALLIS, Ore.–Oregon State Credit Union has awarded the $2000 Tomorrow’s Leaders Today (TLT) scholarships to 10 local high school senior members of the credit union attending an in-state college or university this fall. 

The annual TLT scholarship program honors overall excellence within the Credit Union’s 4,400 teen members. Over the last 20 years, 201 students have received more than $220,000 in assistance toward their college educations. These students are all from the credit union’s 24-county field of membership.

Two schools had a pair of winners each this year. They (with university of choice in parenthesis) are Corvallis High School graduates Anabel Chang (Oregon State University) and Aaron Lewis (University of Oregon) and two from Dallas High School in Natalia Schilling (OSU) and Ryan Bibler (Western Oregon University). Scio High School’s Savannah Voss will join Bibler at Western Oregon.

Four of the other winners will also be attending OSU this fall including Newport High School’s Kye Blaser, Sprague High School’s Santiago Monleon, West Albany’s Zachary Hamann, and Santiam Christian’s Gabrielle Paul. Crescent Valley High School’s Grace Richmond rounds out the winners and she will enroll at Corban University..
