CORVALLIS, – Oregon State Credit Union has hired Amanda Brenneman-Brown, named the 2013 Next Top Credit Union Executive, as its Director of Community Education, it was announced by Chief Operating Officer Rhonda Heile-Brown.
Brenneman-Brown comes to Oregon State Credit Union from the Northwest Credit Union Association where she has served as Program Manager since May of 2014. She earned the international title of Next Top Credit Union Executive during her years with MaPS Credit Union in Salem, Oregon as a Business Development Officer.
Brenneman-Brown is a graduate of Corban University in Salem and has continued her education toward completion of a MBA from Corban in Non-Profit Management. She was one of only two recipients of a “Distinguished Graduate” honor at Corban. She is also adding credit union industry education from the Credit Union Executive Society’s CEO Institute at The Wharton School and Cornell University.
Heile-Brown said of the hire, “Amanda has been a recognized up-and-coming leader in our industry and we are excited that she has chosen to continue and advance our award-winning Community Education program. Her passion and proven dedication to this work is a great fit for our culture and she will be a great asset to our commitment to community and member service.”
