CORVALLIS, Ore. – Oregon State Credit Union has named Gail Lichtenthaler, previously the assistant branch manager at the credit union’s Ninth Street branch, as its new branch manager for the Sunset location scheduled to open inside the new Operations Center at 4800 SW Research Way in Corvallis in early August.
Lichtenthaler started with Oregon State Credit Union in 2012 as assistant branch manager in Philomath after serving as the branch manager of the Chase Bank location in the Corvallis Fred Meyer. Her customer service experience includes successful tenures with both Nordstrom’s and Starbucks Coffee Company.
Lichtenthaler is an Oregon State University graduate and has been active in the Linn and Benton county communities for the past 30 years. She has volunteered with the local chamber, Philomath Frolic and Rodeo, and SOLV.
“I am extremely honored to open our newest branch in our new Operations Center. My passion is for serving our members, and with the addition of a third Corvallis location, I look forward to being able to help more members find solutions to their financial needs,” said Lichtenthaler.
Regional Branch Manager Peter Walker, who oversees the credit union’s seven Linn and Benton County branches said of the announcement, “Gail’s professionalism, passion, and commitment to member service has been evident in her work in Benton County since she first started with us in 2012.
