WASHINGTON–PAHO/WHO Federal Credit Union's Vanessa Wong, Vice President of Risk Management, has earned the Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) designation from The Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA), the CU said.
This internationally recognized certification is a significant professional milestone and reflects Vanessa’s commitment to excellence in the field of internal auditing.
Vanessa joined PAHO/WHO Federal Credit Union in August 2024 and leads the organization’s risk management, compliance, fraud, and internal audit functions. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Commonwealth University (formerly Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania) and brings more than 13 years of experience in the banking and credit union industry.
