ROMULUS, Mich.–For 12 days in December, Public Service Credit Union employees went into the community and donated $1,000 a day in random acts of kindness. Each day, a team captain and their teammates went out in the community and help those less fortunate.
Among other donations, teams gave a Detroit elementary school a “reading nook” complete with furniture and new books, brought lunch to the Romulus fire station, and delivered bags with meals and toiletries to the homeless and school supplies to various schools.
