PLEASANTON, Calif.–Patelco Credit Union has earned the Employee Voice Award (EVA) from Quantum Workplace, an employee feedback company known for its Best Places to Work contest.
The Quantum Workplace Employee Voice Award is provided across two award categories for 2017, Highest Level of Engagement and Raising Engagement. Patelco made the largest improvement from 2015 to 2016 to claim the 2017 Raising Engagement distinction.
“We believe feedback is a gift and the Employee Voice Award from our partner, Quantum Workplace, reaffirms that commitment,” said Susan Makris, senior vice president, chief human resources officer, Patelco Credit Union. “We care about capturing and responding to our team’s feedback, and from there we seek opportunities to implement what they’ve told us in a thoughtful and transparent way. Our team is essential to our success. When our team is engaged, they feel empowered to help our members achieve their financial well-being.”
The EVA, established in 2008, recognizes Quantum Workplace’s client success nationwide in collecting, analyzing and taking action on employee feedback. The EVA is based on level of participation and employee engagement survey results. Patelco was one of 12 organizations named for excellence in employee engagement across both categories.
“Great company cultures don’t come easy. They take leadership vulnerability and receptiveness to blunt and candid employee feedback, detailed analysis and action planning to effectively target areas of weakness, and a diligent commitment to constantly improve,” said Greg Harris, President and CEO of Quantum Workplace. “These 12 organizations have truly proven their commitment to creating great company cultures where employees can thrive. Not only are we excited to recognize each of these organizations for their effort and success, but we are proud of the partnership we have with them.”
