PENSACOLA, Fla.- Pen Air Federal Credit Union presented the Association for Retarded Citizens (ARC) of Baldwin County, Alabama with a check for $4,000 from funds raised through Pen Air FCU employee Jeans for Generosity fund raising days and other fund raising efforts.
The check was presented by Pen Air staff to ARC Director Kathy Fleet.
“Pen Air Federal Credit Union is proud to support the ARC of Baldwin County,” said Pen Air FCU President/CEO, Stewart Ramsey. “Each year, our internal Charitable Events Committee sends out a survey to staff asking for their input on local charities to support and the ARC of Baldwin County was one of this year’s top charity of choice.”
Pen Air FCU employees raise funds primarily through “Jeans for Generosity” days. Jeans for Generosity is an employee-driven fundraising effort to give back to those in need in our community. Each year, Pen Air FCU employees nominate local charities to be voted on as recipients of this philanthropic program. The funds raised by the employees are matched by Pen Air FCU. Through this Jeans for Generosity program, the employees of Pen Air FCU have given more than $92,000 since the program began in 2013.
