PENSACOLA, Fla.– Pen Air Federal Credit Union has presented the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Northwest Florida with a check for $4,000 from funds raised through Pen Air FCU employee Jeans for Generosity fund raising days and other fund raising efforts.
The check presentation was made to Judy Burns, Executive Director of Ronald McDonald House Charities of Northwest Florida (RMH) at the Pen Air Federal Credit Union with the help of Pen Air staff. “Our internal Charitable Events Committee sends out an annual survey to staff asking for their input on local charities to support and the Ronald McDonald House was one of the charities chosen,” said Pen Air FCU President/CEO Stewart Ramsey. “Pen Air Federal Credit Union is proud to support the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Northwest Florida and all the good work they do.”
Pen Air FCU employees primarily raise funds through Jeans for Generosity days. Jeans for Generosity is an employee-driven fundraising effort to give back to those in need in our community. Each year, our employees nominate local charities to be voted on as recipients of this philanthropic program. Funds raised are matched by Pen Air FCU. This program started in 2013 and has raised more than $92,000 since conception.
