TYSONS Va.--PenFed Credit Union announced that Ashish Mahajan has joined the CU as its first Senior Vice President of Enterprise Data.
Mahajan will be responsible for developing Enterprise Data Management (EDM) functions including data strategy, governance, and futuristic capabilities for analytics and business intelligence. He will report to PenFed’s First Senior Executive Vice President Lisa Jennings, the CU said.
Mahajan’s work will form the data foundation to provision of high-quality data and establish the build of capabilities for deep analytics, machine learning, and artificial intelligence.

Mahajan joins PenFed from TD Bank where he served as Senior Executive and Senior Vice President of Data Management and Technologies. With a career that spans over 21 years, Mahajan has spent the last 18 years leading data management transformations and successfully monetizing data. Prior to TD Bank, he held senior positions at PNC Bank, General Motors, and Deloitte Consulting.
