CHIPPEWA FALLS, Wis. – The RCU Foundation has made a $150,000 gift to the Wisconsin Farmers Union Foundation in support the development of Market on River in downtown Chippewa Falls.
The renovated, multifunctional space will have a food court, housing, and community meeting rooms, as well as serving has the headquarters of the Wisconsin Farmers Union. The RCU Foundation’s gift will support the community meeting space and the technical equipment needed to provide a high-quality experience for the community.
“The RCU Foundation recognizes that having spaces where people can come together to recreate and to make connections helps build a sense of community,” said John Sackett, RCU Foundation president. “We are proud to support this project that will ensure that the Wisconsin Farmers Union Foundation will continue to foster local growth, promote cooperative endeavors, and encourage outreach into the community.”
The construction on Market on River is currently underway and a fall 2024 opening is planned.
