BISMARCK, N.D.–The Dakota Credit Union Association (DakCU) has awarded its Red River Chapter, which serves the Fargo, N.D. area, its Chapter of the Year honor.
The Chapter of the Year Award recognizes one credit union chapter in North or South Dakota for its outstanding achievements in advocacy, communication, education, and community involvement.
This year, the Red River Chapter was selected because of their strong commitment to the credit union philosophy of people helping people, DakCU said.
“This is demonstrated by the scholarships they provide to important credit union events, their engagement with the association, their activities that support the next generation of credit union leaders, and their commitment to supporting charitable causes in their community while raising awareness of credit unions,” according to the association.
