SAN FRANCISCO--Eric Maldonado, business development manager for Redwood Credit Union, was recently honored by the Hispanic Chambers of Commerce of San Francisco (HCCSF) for his leadership and contribution in serving the small business community. Mayor London Breed and Joshua Arce, Director of Workforce Development presented Maldonado with a Certificate of Honor for supporting the Latino small business community in San Francisco. Included on the certificate were these words from Mayor London Breed: “Throughout your work as a community leader in San Francisco, you have demonstrated unwavering commitment to uplifting and supporting Latino small businesses. Further, during the COVID-19 global pandemic, you connected local businesses to local, state, and federal relief programs, disseminated critical safety information, provided financial advice, and helped spearhead innovative programs and initiatives. You have dedicated countless hours of your time striving to ensure that all local entrepreneurs and small business owners are supported, undoubtedly leaving a lasting mark on the lives of many.” “It’s an honor to receive these awards,” said Maldonado. “I’m grateful to be able to support the San Francisco small business and Latino communities and to work for an employer like Redwood Credit Union that supports those efforts.”
