SANTA ROSA, Calif.--Redwood Credit Union recently welcomed Aaron Collier as its new senior vice president of information technology.
In his new role, Collier is responsible for strategically planning, developing, directing, and evaluating all information technology and ecommerce initiatives for the credit union. He also oversees the credit union’s information technology staff, the CU said.
Prior to joining RCU, Collier spent 13 years at Washington State Employees Credit Union in positions that included director of infrastructure and operations, assistant vice president of software development, and network architect. In the United States Marines Corps, Collier took part in the leadership program, serving in advanced auto mechanics and as a primary marksmanship instructor. He’s a graduate and member of the Regional Leadership Forum for the Society of Information Management. “I’ve known Aaron professionally for many years and am confident in his ability to lead our information technology team,” said Tony Hildesheim, RCU’s Chief Information Officer. “In hiring Aaron, we’ve chosen an innovator who will continue to move our systems and technologies forward. I’m excited to see what the future holds and how our members will benefit from an ever-improving banking experience.”
