NAPA, Calif. – Redwood Credit Union has promoted Mario Gutierrez to manager of its Napa branch at 1705 First Street.
In his new role, Gutierrez is responsible for overseeing member service, staff management, and daily branch operations, as well as local community and business development efforts, the CU said.
Gutierrez started with RCU in 2015 as a senior member service representative, later becoming Napa’s assistant branch manager, and now branch manager. Prior to joining RCU, he worked for West America Bank and before that, Wells Fargo.
“Mario was born and raised in Napa and is very involved in the community, serving the Napa Chamber of Commerce, the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Puertas Abiertas Community Center, and Community Action of Napa Valley,” said Dave Upham, senior vice president of member experience. “As Napa branch manager, he’ll be a solid force in serving our members, the staff, and the whole community.”
