SANTA ROSE, Calif.—Redwood CU has completed its 2014 United Way workplace giving campaign, with total contributions of $98,175, exceeding this year’s campaign goal of $98,000.
The credit union raised $96,000 for United Way last year. RCU offered several unique incentives to encourage employees to contribute: prize raffles, casual days, smoothie parties and more. In addition to supporting with monetary contributions, RCU employees recently volunteered in United Way’s Day of Caring. Volunteers this year focused on two projects in Santa Rosa, helping to refurbish a bicycle shed for the North Bay Children’s Center and packing meals for the Council on Aging.
