DALLAS--Resource One Credit Union has hired Brady Popp as Chief Lending Officer.
“We are excited to have Brady join the Resource One team,” said Resource One President and CEO Mary Beth Spuck. “Resource One is committed to helping our members achieve their financial dreams, and Brady has the background and expertise to further improve our lending programs to meet the needs of our growing membership.”As Chief Lending Officer, Popp will be responsible for all credit and lending functions and will own the overall loan portfolio management. He and his teams will direct the quality, growth, market competitiveness, risk management, and asset diversity for consumer lending, mortgage lending, and business lending programs. Popp is also tasked with ensuring that the strategic direction and execution of the lending portfolios align with Resource One Credit Union’s mission to help members achieve their financial goals by being a trusted provider of valued and cost-effective financial services, the CU said.
Before joining Resource One Credit Union, Popp held various roles tied to financial examinations, risk management, lending, and collections. He has over 15 years of industry experience and holds an MBA from Sam Houston State University, the CU said.
