We believe that collaboration is essential in creating lasting positive change. By joining forces with the YWCA, we aim to leverage our collective resources and expertise to address systemic challenges and promote social equity. Together, we will continue to advocate for a community where everyone can thrive and have equal access to opportunities."
In addition to financial support, the credit union is proud to partner with YWCA at the Mexican Consulate assisting with financial education and literacy classes offered there. It will also continue to sponsor the Annual Women of Influence Luncheon, underscoring its commitment to empowering women within the region.
The credit union said it supports those in the community through values aligning with the YWCA, such as by offering a range of free classes and resources to promote financial empowerment. These include budgeting workshops, credit-building seminars, homeownership education, and small business development courses.
