EAU CLAIRE, Wis.–Royal Credit Union’s Rock the Riverfront “Rock” Hunt sponsored by Market & Johnson concluded with Justine Abel finding the “rock” hiding under a small footbridge near in Irvine Park in Chippewa Falls, Wis.
“We were definitely hunting for the rock,” said Abel. “My fiancé went to Whitehall to get the third clue and figured out it was ‘bridge.’ Then we were able to piece together the other clues to figure out it would be near a bridge at the Irvine Park Zoo in Chippewa because the second clue spelled Chippewa.”
The prize was awarded at the RCU Foundation’s Rock the Riverfront featuring the Charity Classic event.
Justine and her fiancé intend to use the $500 cash prize to continue to fund their growing animal rescue hobby farm and pay for the medical needs of their animals.
Rock the Riverfront is held in downtown Eau Claire’s Phoenix Park, and includes a 10K and 2 mile run/walk, ½ and ¼ mile youth races, a “No-K” for non-runners, music, family games, and food trucks.
