BALTIMORE— SECU Financial Partners has named Aaron Thompson Jr. an LPL Financial Advisor.
Thompson is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER professional with more than a decade of advising experience.
An integral member of the SECU Financial Partners team, Thompson provides his clients with comprehensive financial planning in the areas of Retirement Planning, Asset Management and Personal Risk, as well as Tax and Estate Planning strategies. Thompson will contribute to SECU Financial Partner’s holistic approach to financial planning, offering a partnership between advisor and credit union member in support of their overarching financial goals.

Early in his career, Thompson joined Mutual of Omaha’s sales force as a Life Insurance agent where he received a “Rising Star" award for his leadership, retention percentage and production consistency. Following, Thompson worked with ING Financial Partners as a Financial Advisor serving the employees of the District of Columbia Government Retirement plans. In this role, Thompson was responsible for managing individual client relationships and providing financial and investment education through New Employee Orientation, Annual Open Enrollment, and one-on-one and group presentations. Most recently, Thompson was an independent Financial Advisor with Securities Management & Research before joining SECU Financial Partners. A native of Baltimore, Thompson is a graduate of the University of Maryland.
