SPIRE CEO Dan Stolz A Finalist for EYEntrepreneur of the Year

FALCON HEIGHTS, Minn.–Dan Stolz, CEO of SPIRE Credit Union, has been named as a finalist for the EYEntrepreneur Of The Year 2018 Award in the Heartland program.

The awards program recognizes entrepreneurs who are excelling in areas such as innovation, financial performance and personal commitment to their businesses and communities. Stoltz was selected as a finalist by a panel of independent judges. Award winners will be announced in June 

A compilation of Stoltz’s accomplishments was presented in the EOY award submission.  “From his unwavering dedication to community, serving as head of both the St. Paul Winter Carnival and Minneapolis Aquatennial, to navigating SPIRE through the financial adversities of the 2009 economic recession, to building a business that was named fifth in brand recognition among 300+ Minnesota financial institutions, Stoltz’s  leadership is an inspiration to his employees, members, peers and local communities,” the credit union said. 

Entrepreneur Of The Year (EOY), founded by EY, is an awards program for entrepreneurs, chosen from an independent panel of judges.  The program strives to make a difference through its encouragement of entrepreneurial activity, and recognition of contributions made by global leaders and visionaries. EOY celebrates those who are building successful and dynamic businesses, recognizing them through regional, national and global awards programs in more than 145 cities and more than 60 countries.
