SPIRE Celebrates '50 in 50' Campaign

FALCON HEIGHTS, Minn.– SPIRE Credit Union staff celebrated the end of 2021 by making the final donation in their year-long "50 in 50" giving campaign.

Each week throughout the year, a different SPIRE department or branch location selected a Minnesota non-profit to receive a $1,000 donation. In total, SPIRE donated $50,000 to 50 different organizations.

Organizations receiving support through the 50 in 50 program supported a wide array of causes and varied in size, scope, and location. What tied them together is that each organization was selected because of its importance to SPIRE employees, the credit union said.

"During a time when the pandemic has caused staff to physically distance, this initiative allowed them to come together to support causes meaningful to them," said SPIRE President/CEO Dan Stoltz. "Ulimtately this allowed our staff to feel more connected to their colleagues and to the communities that we serve, while serving out SPIRE's core action to give back."

SPIRE said it is excited to continue the tradition of involving staff in its giving moving forward, and the "52 in '22" campaign has already begun.
