SPOKANE, Wash.--Two longtime STCU employees have been promoted to positions of senior leadership.
Brian Scott was promoted to Chief Risk Officer, after four years as STCU’s VP of Accounting and Finance.
Scott joined STCU in 2003, working primarily in consumer loan origination and underwriting, and later moved to the accounting department, where he became VP of Accounting and Finance in 2019. His new role will include the oversight of consumer and commercial underwriting, lending operations, loss mitigation, and risk management.
Angela Swenseid has been named Senior Vice President of Finance and Accounting.
Swenseid joined STCU in 2010, shortly after earning a bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance from Eastern Washington University. After performing various roles in the finance and accounting department, she was promoted to Director of Finance in 2019.
