SAN ANTONIO–Security Service Federal Credit Union has promoted Yvonne Fernandez to vice president of commercial operations where she will be responsible for underwriting, portfolio management, risk management, operations and compliance of the commercial loan portfolio for the credit union.
She previously was assistant vice president of commercial services.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration - finance from The University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) and is a past president of the UTSA Alumni Association. She received the Small Business Administration Financial Champion of the Year award and currently serves as an advisory board member for the UTSA Small Business Development Center and as a member of the UTSA Real Estate and Finance Development Founders Council.
