BALTIMORE- Securityplus Federal Credit Union honored Women’s History Month by hosting a Women in Business Panel Discussion aligned with the 2025 national theme: “Moving Forward Together! Women Educating & Inspiring Generations.”
Held at Securityplus headquarters on March 20, the event brought together business leaders, aspiring entrepreneurs, and community members to hear from four remarkable women who are transforming their industries, mentoring others, and building lasting legacies.
The panelists shared personal insights into their entrepreneurial experiences, the challenges they’ve overcome, and the strategies that have helped them succeed:
· Kathleen Dorsey, Founder of Clarity Consulting Group, taught us how success often comes from enabling others rather than competing with them.
“…guess who made all the money in the gold rush. It wasn't the people finding the gold. It was the people selling the shovels and the picks. So you have to figure out what's the shovel and pick that you can sell to other people trying to find their gold.”
· Dr. Nicole Singletary, Founder of Vitality In Motion Chiropractic, shared how her personal health journey led to a mission-driven business focused on holistic wellness.
“When I started my practice, I wanted people to feel truly seen…I want it to be a meaningful, healing connection.”
· Tisha Grant, CEO of The ContractHer, inspired attendees with her lessons about how purpose-driven sacrifice can model powerful values for the next generation.
