MILFORD, Conn.–Sikorsky Credit Union teamed up with the law firm of Harlow, Adams & Friedman, P.C. to host the 4th Annual Milford Trick or Trot 5K Run/Walk, with the proceeds benefiting the Milford Beth-El Center.
The Milford Beth-El Center is a recognized leader in caring for and meeting the needs of the hungry and homeless, providing up to 75 meals a day in their soup kitchen while also offering temporary shelter. In four years of “Trick or Trot” events, approximately $70,000 has been collectively raised. The Trick or Trot event had something for the entire family, including food, entertainment and a 5K race. Many participants of all ages walked or ran in costume, as the event took place on the morning of Halloween.
“I am grateful to again be a part of this great event with my co-workers and have the chance to give back my community,” said Michele Parry, manager of the Sikorsky Credit Union Milford Office. “Sikorsky Credit Union had a number of participants and volunteers at the event. The Milford Beth-El Center is one of many community organizations that has benefited from support provided by Sikorsky Credit Union this year.”
