Sikorsky CU Supports Food Pantry

STRATFORD, Conn.– Sikorsky Credit Union donated more than 300 items to the Sterling House Food Pantry. The Sterling House has served generations of children and adults for almost 90 years, with programs that include a preschool, after school program, summer day camp, food pantry service and athletics.

Sikorsky Credit Union hosted a food drive and employees donated nonperishable items, such as cereals, canned vegetables, soups, rice, pasta boxes and more, to fill the shelves of the Sterling House Food Pantry. This event was initiated by the Sikorsky Cares Committee to help individuals and families facing food insecurities in 2022.

“We strive to make a difference in the lives of our members and the communities we serve. This food drive was a great way for our employees to get involved and make a positive impact in the Stratford area,” said Ken Ferrari, SVP/chief experience officer at Sikorsky Credit Union.
