HEATH / NEWARK, Ohio —Hopewell Federal Credit Union (HFCU) spread some holiday cheer with the donation of warm weather wear including hats, gloves, scarves and 17 youth size coats.
These winter weather items (valued at $350) and $125 in Giant Eagle gift cards were donated to the Salvation Army in Newark, Ohio.
Each Friday, Hopewell Federal Credit Union staff members were invited to donate a dollar in exchange for the opportunity to dress in casual attire. The funds collected throughout the year were then used to purchase items for donation.
