Sooper CU Awards Super Students

ARVADA, Colo.– Sooper Credit Union (SCU) along with the SCU Community Foundation have announced their 2022 Scholarship Recipients. This year, three students received a scholarship to further their educational journey.

Founded in 2009, the SCU Community Foundation has distributed nearly $230,000 in scholarships, donations, and sponsorships to hundreds of organizations.

“The SCU Community Foundation is proud to support these talented members in achieving their educational goals,” said Mike Litzau, secretary/treasurer of the SCU Community Foundation.

$5,000 Scholarship Recipient

Jaqueline Navarro Tene is a graduate of Arrupe Jesuit High School and will be studying Biology at Regis University.

$2,500 Scholarship Recipients

Jared Nelson is currently studying Christian Ministry at Colorado Christian University.

Michael Shoenberger is currently obtaining a Masters in Computer Science at the Colorado School of Mines.
