ARVADA, Colo. – Sooper Credit Union has appointed Charlie Emanuel Chief Financial Officer.
“Having worked with a large number of Colorado credit unions, Charlie brings a wealth of credit union experience. We are thrilled that he will share his expertise and experience with Sooper Credit Union as we continue on our strategic growth path,” said Carrie Langgard, Sooper Credit Union President and CEO.
Emanuel started his career as an auditor for a CPA firm in Denver. He then joined a credit union in Boulder as VP of Accounting, and before that, VP of Finance for a total of 11 years. During that time, Emanuel participated in and contributed to the credit union’s growth as they grew from $400M to $1.5B. Emanuel holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting & Financial Management and an MBA in Finance from the University of Colorado, and a CPA license.
