N. CHARLESTON, S.C. – South Carolina Federal Credit Union has been recognized for the sixth year as one of the Best Places to Work in South Carolina. In the Large Employer (250+ employees) category, South Carolina Federal placed third out of the 26 companies recognized in 2018. South Carolina Federal was the highest ranking financial institution on this year's list.
The competition, now in its 13th year, is led by the South Carolina Chamber of Commerce, Best Companies Group and SC Biz. Winners are determined through a two-part assessment designed to gather detailed data about each participating company, provided by both the employer and employees.
The collected data is then analyzed to determine the strengths and opportunities of the participating companies. The workplaces are ranked based on their designation in the small (15-249) and large (250+) size employer companies.
