NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. –South Carolina Federal Credit Union has named Trey Gantt Senior Vice President of Lending Services.
The role oversees mortgages, consumer loans, loss prevention and business services for the $1.7 billion cooperative, serving over 150,000 members across South Carolina.
In his new role, Gantt will oversee the strategic direction of all lending at South Carolina Federal and manage the credit union's $1.3 billion loan portfolio. Gantt has been with South Carolina Federal for 16 years, having most recently served as the Vice President of Lending. Gantt's other previous roles include Business Services Manager, Business Services Officer and Financial Center Manager, the CU said.
"I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to serve our members in a more strategic capacity," said Gantt. "In this role, I will help the credit union achieve our strategic goals and support driving our success as we continue to grow our footprint." Gantt resides in Mount Pleasant with his wife and two children. He is a volunteer youth coach with the Mount Pleasant Recreation Department and an ordained elder at Palmetto Presbyterian Church.
