MELBOURNE, Fla.--Space Coast Credit Union has promoted Nicole Williams to Vice President of Information Technology.
Williams began her career with SCCU in June 2013 as Manager of Systems Operation & Development. Since joining SCCU, she has provided systems development and technical support for many major projects, including a redesign of the credit union’s website, SCCU.com, an upgrade of its online and mobile Banking systems, and a core system conversion, the CU said
In June 2016, Williams was promoted to Director of Information Technology and helped lead an organization-wide hardware migration to a new data center, which also included the implementation of disaster recovery procedures to ensure business continuity, the CU said.
“Nicole has played an instrumental role in the innovation and advancement of Space Coast Credit Union’s information systems since joining our team in 2013,” said Alan Lewis, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. “Nicole brings an extensive amount of knowledge and expertise to this new role, and will continue finding dynamic ways to create value for our members through safeguarding our systems and member information.” In her new role, Williams will assume strategic direction of the credit union’s technology initiatives across many specialized areas, including Data Centers and Networks, Systems Development and Operations, and the Help Desk and Technical Support groups, the CU said.
