Suffolk FCU Marks 50th With 'Celebrate and Do Good'

SUFFOLK, N.Y.– As part of Suffolk Federal’s 50th anniversary of exceptional service to its members, the credit union has been hosting a “Celebrate & Do Good” campaign each month.

For only a $5 donation, members have received a contest raffle ticket, which has so far provided seven lucky winners the prize of $500 each. Donations collected to-date have exceeded $4,100 and will benefit Long Island Cares, the Harry Chapin Food Bank located in Hauppauge.

Ed Fitzgerald, a Suffolk Federal member of nearly 40 years and winner of the recent Eastport branch contest, was thrilled to be the recipient of some well-deserved extra cash back. “I joined Suffolk Federal in 1978 and the convenience over the years has always stood out. I’m proud to be a member here after all of these years.”
