GREENSBORO, N.C.–Summit Credit Union’s second annual charity Car Show attracted 60-automobiles,including classic cars, trucks, and the latest muscle cars were at the event for attendees to see.
Through the generosity of attendees, Summit Credit Union raised over $2,100 and received manydonations of canned goods and supplies for BackPack Beginnings. BackPack Beginnings helpschildren in need by ensuring basic necessities are given directly to children, such as food, clothing, and other supplies.
“We are proud that we were able to support another successful event for our members and the localcommunity’s children in need. We look forward to conducting this event again for years to come,” says Sam Whitehurst, president and CEO of Summit Credit Union.
