MADISON, Wis. — Summit Credit Union is the top mortgage lender in the state of Wisconsin this year, according to data collected under the Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA).
Based on 2022 HMDA (Home Mortgage Disclosure Act) data, released at the end of June 2023, Summit provides more mortgages than any other mortgage lender in Wisconsin.
“I’m proud that we continue to provide the largest number of mortgages in Wisconsin,” said Summit Credit Union CEO & President Kim Sponem. “We believe we provide the best deal for members, so the more people we serve, the more good we can do. Our employees always listen to the needs of our members. If the need is a mortgage, home equity loan, line of credit or refinance, we work with them to deliver the right solution for them.”
Data was collected for 2022 under the HMDA, a federal law requiring annual disclosure of mortgage data by financial institutions and reported by the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB).
