LAKE JACKSON, Texas–TDECU has been named a 2021 Top Workplace by the Houston Chronicle. The award is based on feedback from TDECU’s employees to an anonymous survey
“Our employees are fantastic, and this belongs to them. We operate under the motto of ‘One Team’ and that mindset is demonstrated with this honor. I couldn’t be prouder,” said TDECU President & CEO, Isaac Johnson.
| Adding to the excitement, the credit union said, was that it was ranked among the top ten at #8 among large companies of 500 local employees or more who made the list. |
“One of the most exciting things is that it is a reflection of how our employees experience their work environment and the meaningful work they do helping Members navigate their financial journeys," Johnson continued.
Some of the biggest drivers in the credit union’s ranking is how its employees feel about TDECU in terms of training, flexibility, TDECU said.
“As we’ve navigated the uncertainty of our current times, our employees’ needs, and their growth, have been at the forefront. Our investment in our workforce means we empower our team to be its best at work and serving our members,” said SVP-Chief Human Resources Officer Qiara Suggs.
