LAKE JACKSON, Texas–In a combined effort between all member center staff and back-office support staff, TDECU filled a moving truck with hundreds of donations for Goodwill Industries Houston. Throughout the organization, employees were encouraged to donate new and gently-worn clothing and household items.
Organized by Michell Azbell, Ruth VanBusKirk and Yuri Navarro (pictured above), all donated items were sent to the Houston office of Goodwill Industries for distribution throughout their Greater Houston area locations.
“Partnering with Goodwill was such an exciting experience. TDECU prides itself on giving back to the communities we serve and working with Goodwill was just a natural fit. We are committed to helping improve the lives of our Members and knowing that our efforts helped make the holidays a little brighter for someone is such a great feeling,” said Yuri Navarro.
