LAKE JACKSON, Texas — TDECU – Your Credit Union announced that Janet Tuttle was recognized as the 2017 recipient of the Volunteer Service Award in Memory of James M. Gibson at the recent NetVU Conference in Nashville.
Tuttle delivers outstanding service as the Operations Manager for TDECU Insurance Agency, LLC in Lake Jackson, and continues to serve through NetVU – a national, volunteer-driven organization with the purpose to connect Vertafore insurance technology product users, the credit union said. Every year, the organization selects an individual who demonstrates exceptional volunteer service to the user community.
“I was shocked and honored to have received this award,” stated Tuttle. “At TDECU, we believe in Employee development. I would not be in this position without them, my co-workers, and the various NetVU chapters. I am truly humbled by this experience!”
According to the organization, Tuttle exceeded the criteria of going above and beyond, being a positive role model in the community, and demonstrating high quality work. They went on to say that “her enthusiasm and dedication is a breath of fresh air, and we couldn’t think of anyone more deserving.”
