HAUPPAUGE, NY – Teachers Federal Credit Union (TFCU) announced the promotion of Francis Collins to Senior Vice President –Credit.
In his new position, he will serve as a member of the senior management team, overseeing all lending department functions and products, including mortgages, indirect auto loans, leasing and commercial loans, as well as underwriting and servicing. He succeeds the current SVP – Credit, Nancy J. Orlando, upon her retirement.

He brings not only his passion, but his knowledge of the lending department to continue to serve Long Islanders as the Senior Vice President- Credit,” said Robert G. Allen, President and CEO, TFCU.
Collins joined TFCU in July 2013 as AVP – Consumer Loans and Collections, where he oversaw the Consumer Lending (Direct and Indirect), Collections and Loan Records groups, evaluating workflow and daily processes to drive efficiency while identifying opportunities to increase loan production and drive profitability for the credit union. He previously held positions at Bethpage Federal Credit Union, Citibank, EAB and JPMorganChase where he amassed significant credit and management experience. Collins holds a Bachelor of Science from St. Joseph’s College in Patchogue, NY.
