HAUPAUGGUE, N.Y.– Teachers Federal Credit Union (TFCU) held a peanut butter and jelly drive during the month of June in each of its 25 branches in support of The Welcome INN (Interfaith Nutrition Network).
In addition to the many jars of peanut butter and jelly donated, Team TFCU also raised $750 for The Welcome INN.
“Here at TFCU, we are always looking for positive ways to make a difference in our local community and support other locally grown organizations such as The Welcome INN,” said President/CEO Robert G. Allen. “We hope this donation helps to provide much needed food to those less fortunate in our community this summer.”
Team TFCU, TFCU’s employee involvement group is made up of more than 600 volunteer TFCU employees who are also all local Long Islanders. Team TFCU strives to make a positive difference in the Long Island community through fundraising, volunteering time and resources and supporting various local causes, organizations and businesses.
