HAUPPAUGUE, N.Y.--Teachers Federal Credit Union is hosting a free Workshop/Seminar for Teachers on “The Hidden Costs of College” at its Hauppauge headquarters.
“We want to offer this financial literacy workshop to ensure Long Island teachers are aware of all the methods available to local students to help them reduce college costs or take advantage of the programs available to them,” said TFCU CEO Robert G. Allen. The course will be taught by David Young, of the Council for Economic Education and focus on “What Every Teacher, Student and Parent Needs to Know” when it comes to higher education costs.
