Teachers Federal Raises Funds for Autism

HAUPPAUGUE, N.Y. – Teachers Federal Credit Union recently held a blue ribbon fundraiser during the month of April in each of its 27 branches. Members were asked to purchase blue ribbons for $1.00 each, in honor of Autism Awareness Month.

Thirty-five hundred dollars was raised and then donated to NSSA (Nassau Suffolk Services for Autism), a non-profit organization dedicated to the education and treatment of individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders.
